Mizuno MP-64 Irons Steel at www.clickgolf.co.uk From conception, the Diamond Muscle MP-64, Grain Flow Forged iron was designed for Mizuno?s professional tour staff. With the shallowest cavity, the Mizuno MP-64 offers a touch more forgiveness than a traditional blade ? with Mizuno?s R&D team focussed on producing the softest, most solid feel possible. A quest for more feedback led the Mizuno MP-64 to a thicker, bulging muscle pad behind a wider portion of the clubface. The thicker portion produces the smoother feel that Mizuno?s tour staff recognised from previous muscleback irons. The smoother look and feel of the Mizuno MP-64 is complemented by a softer edged, more playable sole shape. While Mizuno?s overall tour grind is maintained, less defined edges produce more consistent turf interaction and distance control. Long iron cavities are deeper than the MP-64?s predecessor ? ensuring that forgiveness is added where needed most. Cavity depth reduces evenly through the set, until reaching the compact short irons ? which are thick and feel orientated. Mizuno MP-64?s are Grain Flow Forged at Mizuno's exclusive Hiroshima / Japan facility for exceptional precision ? now evident in the 3D Runbird. Diamond Muscle:Bulging cavity pad for softest possible feel. Grain Flow Forged:From a single 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel billet for pure feel. Smoother sole bevel:Softer relief for more consistent turf reaction and distance control. Modified U-grooves:Ideal spin rates within 2010 Condition of Competition rule.
